Startup Select can help you manage all the programs that start running automatically when you start up your computer. Yes, I know - Window’s default startup manager is already there and it does the same thing, but Startup Select offers you some other options not available in your operating system, such as a possibility of clearly identifying which program belongs to what EXE file before disabling it.
It has a very user-friendly interface, with a list of all the programs and other Windows services that run on your PC at start-up. You can temporarily disable any of them or remove it from your PC startup permanently. Before doing that and with the help of your Internet connection, you can gather detailed information about any suspicious program or potentially harmful .exe process running in the background.
The one thing that I found surprising about the program was its price tag, as for that same price some software developers are offering you good antivirus tools with in-built startup managers and many other utilities. However, its limited features are good enough for home use. You can still try it for 15 days free of charge and decide for yourself.
